  5. https://i.imgur.com/eA8LZUq.png The minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said that a pure water seller who was kidnapped alongside the Dapchi schoolgirls was among those released by the insurgents. The minister who disclosed this on Sunday, March 26, in Lagos, said a primary school boy had come to the school to sell pure water when the abduction took place, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. The abducted pure water seller boy released alongside the Dapchi schoolgirls and Hon. Goni Bukar representing Bursari/Geidam/Yunusari Federal constituency where Dapchi is located. Credit: NAN “Also kidnapped were two other persons, who are not students of the college. “They include a primary school boy who came to the school to sell pure water and another primary school girl,’’ he said. For further clarification, he said a total of 111 girls were abducted from the Government Girls Secondary and Technical College (GGSTC) in Dapchi on February 19. “That means one student was not captured on the list of 110 abducted students that was compiled by the school, on the basis of which the federal government gave the number of abducted schoolgirls as 110. “So far, a total of 107 persons, comprising 105 Dapchi schoolgirls and the two non-students have been released by the insurgents,” he said. He said that six Dapchi schoolgirls were yet unaccounted for and all efforts will be made to secure their release. “The assertion is nothing but a mere speculation on its time frame as it is completely not correct. Furthermore, the insinuation that the Police ran away is not true as the only near fatal casualty was a policeman wounded and now recuperating in the hospital,” the statement said.

  7. Boko Haram terrorists were seen on camera receiving a “heroic” welcome as they dropped off high school girls abducted from Dapchi in Yobe state at the early hours of today. Boko Haram members who escorted the released Dapchi school girls back home were hailed by residents as they dropped off some of the abducted girls at an open field around a police station and zoomed off. Locals trooped out in hysteria to receive the girls as they cheered the terrorists while some eyewitnesses were brave enough to shake hands with some of the dreaded terrorists. Witnesses said the insurgents stormed the town early Wednesday morning fully armed but harmed nobody while some of its members preached to the residents to avoid western education which the group stands against. Reports have it that the Nigerian government relaxed security as part of the deal struck with the militants to facilitate the delivery of the first batch of the girls numbering about 101. Watch the video of the ‘triumphant entry’ of the sect members below:

  9. Some of the schoolgirls kidnapped from their school in Dapchi, Yobe State, may have been freed by their abductors. Sources said the girls were brought to Dapchi by persons suspected to be their Boko Haram abductors. About 110 girls were kidnapped from Government Girls Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe State, on 19 February, in a raid President Muhammadu Buhari described as a “national disaster.” Amnesty International yesterday said the Nigerian military was warned prior the raid similar to the one that led to the kidnap of Chibok girls on April 14, 2014. It blamed the latest kidnap on the “inexcusable security lapses” on the part of the military. “The government’s failure in this incident must be investigated and the findings made public — and it is absolutely crucial that any investigation focuses on the root causes,” said Amnesty’s Nigeria director Osa Ojigho. But the Nigerian military said that Amnesty goofed. A military spokesman Brigadier General John Agim said AI’s report was a “calculated attempt to whip up sentiments and mislead unsuspecting Nigerians.” AI, however, insisted that between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on February 19, at least five calls were made to tell the security services that Islamist fighters were in the Dapchi area. I think I’m pretty OK.” Source: Daily Star UK
  11. A heart-wrenching report by The Sun UK has disclosed how thousands of young girls and women in Russia are selling their virginity after finding rich men online who are willing to pay for a night of passion. According to report, in some cases, these girls place their own advertisements on forums and dating websites, announcing that they are selling the "right to the first night" to "adult, affluent man". A 19-year-old girl from Moscow naming herself Milana Mercer stated in a typical online advertisement: "Selling virginity, please send me a private message. I am from Moscow." Another shocking advert claimed to be from a girl aged just 17-years-old who is selling her virginity. While one other post boasts: "Marina sold her virginity for 1.5 million roubles (£18,900), and bought a great apartment." In some other cases, networks of specialist dealers and scouts actively recruit virgins and link them to wealthy businessmen. These dealers make money off the recruit by taking a slice of fees which can range between a few hundred and tens of thousands of pounds. SunUK reports that Russian social media forums with names like 'Bad Girl's Club' and 'Desperate Virgin's Club' try to attract young women who match what the pervy men want - offering sky-high prices. One post on 'Bad Girl's Club' says: "Looking for virgin girls under 19....Smart, beautiful, charming, from any cities in Russia. We pay tickets to Moscow and back, 1-2 days....Type of girls - as on the photo" - (which shows a girl in lingerie in a revealing pose on a bed.) When asked why they have chosen to sell their virginity, SunUK reports some women said they are taking the seemingly drastic step out of desperate circumstances. A 20-year-old called Anastasia from the industrial city Magnitogorsk told Bumaga lifestyle website she is currently offering to sell her virginity to help pay for cancer treatment for her mother. She is waiting for an offer of 300,000 roubles - or £3750 (about N1.9million). 18-year-old Lena from Moscow said: "Instead of just losing my virginity, it's better if I make some money from it." A woman who seven years ago sold her own virginity for £7,000 (N3.5million) to pay for plastic surgery, now works as a manager for other girls in the same position she was once in. Teams of scouts help to recruit suitable girls. The report said: "On average girls are paid 200,000-300,000 ruble (£2,500 to £3,750). Payment depends on age and appearance. "The perfect type is 17-to-18 years old, short, very cute and modest. "On average every manager sells up to 10 virgins a month, earning around 300,000 ruble (£3,750) a month." Inset: A room in a Russian hotel, where an 18-year-old girl allegedly lost her virginity after selling it online. Some 20-to-50 percent is added to the price as the agent's fee. Those selling their virginity are expected to show a medical certificate confirming they have not had sex. And the prospect of earning a lucrative sum reportedly lures many girls to sign up. In 2016 model Anna Feschenko, 17, flew to Dubai aiming to sell her virginity for £9,600 (N4.9million) to a wealthy Arab man, according to her traveling companion. Anna's mother contacted police and the teenager returned from the United Arab Emirates. She did not comment on whether she had, in the end, sold her virginity. Her friend called Ekaterina said: "It is a privilege in the UAE to be a virgin. I think Anna was just impressed with the amount of money she could get." In a recent case, a mother was detained for seeking to sell her 13-year-old daughter's virginity to a businessman. Irina Gladkikh, 35, an estate agent, flew from Chelyabinsk to Moscow with the underage girl in order to sell her "first night" to a "rich client" for £19,100 (N9.7million). In a video confession she said: "We came to Moscow to get to know a rich man, in order to get financial help for providing sexual services by my daughter." Credits #The SunUK
