The deceased soldier identified as Jamilu Zaria, was reportedly killed recently during a battle with armed bandits in Zamfara state. Meanwhile, armed bandits on Monday attacked Wonaka, Ajja, Mada, Ruwan Baure, Doka, Takoka and Tudun Maijatau, all under Gusau Local Government Area in Zamfara. According to reports, over 20 persons were killed while six others were kidnapped in the process.
MediaTek posted a topic in People and NationsPolice have arrested four men for allegedly stabbing a man, identified as Shuaibu, of Maitumbi in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State to death for exposing their nefarious activities. The suspects, Hassan Mohammed (20), Buhari Hassan (19), Nura Hassan (22) and Mudasuru Abdullahi (25), all from Maitumbi, were trailed and arrested by the operatives of Minna Special Armed Robbery Squad on a tip-off. It was learnt that the thugs stabbed the victim for allegedly reporting their dangerous activities to residents of the area. Shuaibu was beaten up by the thugs, before he was stabbed in the stomach thereby causing him to bleed to death. Policemen stormed the area, arrested the suspects at their meeting point and recovered the knife which they used in stabbing their victim.

MediaTek posted a topic in People and NationsTwo arrested suspected serial killers, Dauda Amusat and Kabiru Dudupariola, have confessed to killing a 42-year-old businessman, Sanusi Isiaka, on May 14, 2017, near Slava Construction Company along Iwo Road for money ritual purpose. The suspects who were arrested and paraded by the Osun State Police Command on December 28, 2018, in Ifon, reportedly chopped off the head of the businessman for ritual purpose. The State’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, who confirmed the incident said that the suspects were allegedly contracted by another businessman, Yekini Ayinde aka Abija, currently at large, who paid them N200,000 to kill the deceased. According to the suspects, Isiaka had supplied bags of rice to Abija who didn’t want to pay for the goods after selling them, hence his contract to kill him. The deceased identified as Ndubuisi who hails from Anambra state has reportedly been in Brazil for a long time and decided to come back home to celebrate the Yuletide in his hometown where he met his untimely end. According to multiple unverified reports online, the deceased was killed following an alleged drug deal went wrong as it has been claimed that he dupes people from the drug deals they make. His SUV was abandoned on the road by his killers, suggesting that it was not a case of robbery. His corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

He said the operations order for the Ember months had since been dropped, arguing that all the police crack teams like the Dragons, Eagle Net, Squadrons, Safer Highways, SARS and others had been on red alert to effectively curtail crimes and criminality within this period.”
