  1. Dani Alves won his 36th trophy as a footballer when Paris Saint Saint-Germain defeated Monaco 7-1 to clinch the French Ligue 1 title. He won the Treble twice, as well as another Champions League medal, six La Liga titles, added four more Copa del Rey gongs and enjoyed four Spanish Super Cup triumphs. In the continental stage for the Catalans, he won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup three times each. The same period he won the Confederations Cup twice with Brazil. Alves won the domestic double when joined Juventus in 2016, and could have added another but for a defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The two South American stars had a close relationship during their time together at Barcelona. Messi, who is set to take over as Barcelona captain once Iniesta leaves the club in the summer, said the players have not shown the qualities of remaining in the club.

He is also the top scorer in the history of Barcelona and Argentina.
